Narrative:                      

 

On Saturday 8-24-2019, Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s T.A.G.N.E.T. Unit  (Tulare Area Gang and Narcotic Enforcement Team) responded to an address in the 400 block of west Wade in rural Tulare County regarding an assault with a firearm.

 

Upon arrival the victim reported he was standing in the front yard of his residence when two suspects arrived in a vehicle yelling out gang slurs. One suspect pointed a firearm at the victim and began shooting at him. The victim was not injured and was able to find cover as the suspects fled in their vehicle.   

 

A (BOL) be on the lookout was broadcast to surrounding agencies of the suspect vehicle and suspect descriptions. A vehicle matching the suspect’s descriptions was located by an allied agency and stopped. As a result two suspects were arrested. They were identified as;

 

Joseph Michael Ojeda 18yrs old and Christian Salvador Ogeda 23yrs old both from Tulare. They were both arrested on the following charges;  182pc Conspiracy to commit a crime, 664/187pc attempted Homicide, 25850pc Possession of a loaded firearm in public, 32310pc Possession of a large capacity magazine, and 186.22pc Participating in a street gang (Gang enhancement).
