On 1-31-16 at approximately 0335 hours, Deputies from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 12500 block of Miller Avenue, Orosi, regarding a gunshot wound victim. Upon their arrival and a search of the area, the victim was located in the 12500 block of Avene 416, in Orosi.

Upon contacting the victim, Deputies observed he was suffering from a single gunshot wound to his head. The victim was transported to a local area hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

Tulare County Sheriff’s Violent Crimes Detectives responded to the scene and took over the investigation. During their investigation, Detective’s uncovered information indicating this incident could possibly be gang related.
