Narrative:                      

On 04-05-2018 at approximately 2130 hours, Deputies with the Orosi Substation were dispatched to the area of Ave 413 and Road 128 in Orosi for reports of shots fired. Deputies responded to the area and located shell casings and evidence consistent with a shooting. Deputies also located video surveillance of nearby businesses in the area. 

On 04-06-2018, Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department TAGNET (Tulare Area Gang and Narcotic Enforcement Team) assumed the investigation and were able to determine a gang related shooting occurred outside of a store in the 41200 block of Road 128. Detectives were able to positively identify Anthony Orozco as being the shooter during the incident. Detectives ultimately obtained an arrest warrant for Orozco and a search warrant for his residence.

On 04-07-2018 at approximately 2050 hours, Detectives located Orozco in the 12400 block of Ave 416 in Orosi and took him into custody without incident. Detectives then executed a search warrant at Orozco’s residence in the 41000 block of Rd 124 and located evidence related to the investigation. Orozco was transported and booked at the Adult PreTrial Facility on the above charges without incident.
