On 12/15/2015 at 1502 hours, Porterville deputies responded to the 700 block of East River in the rural area of Porterville regarding a subject reporting an assault. Upon contacting the victim, it was learned that he had been assaulted with a deadly weapon. 

Violent Crime Detectives responded and took over the investigation. Detectives contacted the suspect and determined she was involved in the crime. The suspect was subsequently arrested and transported to the Tulare County Sheriff Substation in Porterville. 

This case is still under investigation by the Tulare County Sheriff Violent Crimes Unit.
