           On 5-19-16 at approximately 0100 hours, Deputies with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Pepper Avenue and Road 236 in Terra Bella in regards to a gunshot wound victim. Deputies arrived on scene and contacted a male adult victim who had sustained a gunshot wound to his upper torso.

The victim was airlifted to a local area hospital for treatment.

Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff's Violent Crimes Unit responded to the scene and took over the investigation. This case remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Franco or Sergeant Torres at (559) 733-6218.
