Suspect in custody: Miguel Caraves (Adult) from Earlimart 

On 02/03/18 at approximately 1347 hours, Deputies from the Pixley Substation were at a residence located on the 8000 block of Road 132, in Teviston, for an unrelated incident. 

While on scene, a reporting party advised that a male subject fled from the property when Deputies arrived.  Deputies checked the area and observed Miguel Caraves attempting to flee from Deputies. 

Miguel Caraves is on the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office’s Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list for several Felony Active Warrants. 

He fled through several properties while Deputies pursued him.  While fleeing, Caraves was observed attempting to steal an ATV from a female Juvenile which met with negative results.  Miguel continued to flee and the use of a Taser was used to stop him. 

Caraves was taken into custody without further incident.
