Deputies responded to the 27700 block of Ave 146, Porterville on a disturbance. Deputies contacted the victim, who said the suspect during an altercation choked him, causing injury. The suspect was still on scene and was arrested for battery. The suspect was transported and booked at the Porterville Substation.
