On 03/16/2016 at approximately 0220 hours, Deputies from the Tulare County Sheriff's Porterville Substation were dispatched to the 100 block of South Reservation Road in regards to a female brandishing a weapon.

During the investigation it was learned that the female flagged down a fireman who was driving east on South Reservation Road and asked for medical aid. While the Fireman assisted the female, the female took an approximate 8-inch knife concealed behind her back and told the Fireman she was going to stab him.

The Fireman stepped away and told the female numerous times to put the knife away. The female placed her knife inside her purse and walked away.  The Fireman was able to positively identify the female due to numerous previous contacts. The Fireman provided the Tule River Tribal Police with the female's information. She was later located and detained. The female was later booked and processed at the Porterville Substation for the above charges.
