On 2-20-17 at 2333 hours, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Dollar General on the 800 block of North Burnett, in Tipton, in regards to a burglary alarm. 

Upon arrival, Deputies determined that forced entry had been made into the business and items had been stolen. A search was conducted for suspect(s) on scene which met with negative results. Upon initiating an investigation into the burglary, deputies located and collected physical evidence on scene.

It was determined that the business sustained an approximate loss of $2300 in items stolen and property damage. This investigation is ongoing.
