On 3/13/18 at 1600 hours Detectives from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Property Crimes Unit culminated a burglary investigation, which initially took place on July 25, 2017 at a residence in the County of Tulare. During the investigation, Detectives discovered a suspect named Tyler Allen, a 21 year old resident of Visalia, was responsible for breaking into the house and stealing a safe with expensive jewelry, including miscellaneous paperwork and other items.
As time went on Detectives were able to track down the victim’s wedding ring and other jewelry at two local pawn shops in Visalia. The items of evidence remain on hold pending judicial proceedings. The total recovery of those items was estimated to be $1,390. This afternoon Detectives were able to locate and arrest Tyler Allen with a Ramey Warrant and placed him into custody without incident.
