On 10/7/2017, Deputies from the Sheriff's Porterville Substation were dispatched to the 19900 block of Road 232, Strathmore, regarding a report of a residential burglary.  Deputies learned that numerous items were taken from the residence including the victim’s vehicle. 

It was later learned that the victim’s vehicle was involved in a traffic accident and the driver was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.  It was learned that the suspect was in possession of the vehicle and property from the residence. 

Additional property was located in the vehicle and recovered.  The suspect was identified as Juan Francisco Aguilar.  He was arrested for burglary, stolen vehicle and possession of stolen property.
