On 5-15-17, Tulare County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the above listed location in regards to the report of a theft of a burglary at a welding shop. Upon arrival, Deputies determined the suspects accessed the property through the fence of an adjacent property. Deputies were advised a Polaris Quad was stolen along with other items.
Deputies were able to follow evidence that led them to a residence approximately a quarter mile away where they located the stolen quad and the above named suspects.
Detectives were contacted and assumed the investigation. Upon their arrival, Detectives determined one of the suspects, while a convicted felon, had been in possession of a loaded firearm which was previously collected as evidence. The above named suspects were subsequently arrested for burglary, vandalism and felon in possession of a loaded firearm.
Further evidence is being examined and the case is ongoing.
