On 9/7/16 at approximately 0108 hrs, Deputies from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department responded to Palm Elementary School located at the 12900 block of Avenue 419 in Orosi regarding a report of a burglar alarm. Upon arrival Deputies made contact with a school staff member who also responded due to the alarm sounding. Upon searching the school grounds Deputies learned unknown person(s) made forced entry into a class room and removed approximately $1,000 worth of electronics and caused approximately $300.00 worth of damage to the classroom while committing the burglary. Deputies searched the school grounds and located the electronics hidden nearby. The case is currently under investigation by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department.
