On 04-18-17, at approximately 1550 hours, deputies were dispatched to the 1800 block of North Grand in Porterville regarding a report of a possible burglary.

Upon arrival, deputies contacted the reporting party. She stated her husband left the property the night before at approximately 1800 hours, with no damage to the property. On today’s date, at approximately 0600 hours, the construction workers arrived to the residence and noticed the entrance to the west of the property was wide open. Dayla responded to the property and observed the door to have been pried open. Dayla stated nothing was taken from the property but stated the estimated damage was approximately $400. 

Suspect unknown.
