During an ongoing investigation, Detectives form the Tulare County Sheriff’s Ag Crimes Unit discovered a number of crimes committed in the south county area were related.  Several involved suspects have been identified.

On 07-27-2017, Detectives, with the assistance of TCSO Porterville Patrol, began locating stolen property and suspects in the Plainview and Strathmore areas. Angel Osorio of Plainview and Santos Vargas of Strathmore were arrested and charged with multiple crimes including conspiracy, grand theft, petty theft, possession of stolen property, resisting arrest, and assault with a deadly weapon related to nine cases and six different victims.

Over $10,000 worth of stolen property was recovered and returned to the owners.  This continues to be an ongoing investigation.
