On September 15, 2018, 2138 hours, Deputies responded to the 500 block of South W. St. in Porterville for a reported carjacking.  Deputies arrived and contacted the victims who sustained minor injuries.  The victim advised the incident occurred between approximately 2030 hours and 2100 hours.  Witnesses were contacted and Detectives with the Property Crimes Unit arrived and took over the investigation.
