Due a string of burglaries during the last few months at a home in the 600 block of E. Citrus Ave. in Lindsay, the Tulare County Sheriff's Office Ag Unit placed a bait generator on the property. The generator was equipped with GPS tracking devices and Smart Water was also placed on the device.
On 04/07/2019 around 1:50 a.m., the GPS System alerted Deputies that the generator was moving. A short time later, the generator was found in the front seat of a car parked in the 1900 block of W. Pioneer Ave. in Porterville.
Through the course of the investigation, Smart Water was found on the hands of three people, and they were confirmed to be responsible for the burglaries and thefts. 23-year-old Danielle Potter, 33 year-old Alyssa Smith and 33-year-old old Daniel Tucker, all of Porterville, were arrested and face charges of Burglary, Grand Theft and Conspiracy to Commit a Crime.
