On March 1, 2020, TCSO Deputies were called to a business in the 25900 Block of Road 164 in Visalia for an interrupted Burglary. The victim said he had responded to an alarm and saw a white Chevrolet Tahoe leaving the scene. The suspect had cut a hole in the perimeter fence and stole a pressure washer worth about $1,500. The victim was able to get a license plate from the vehicle as the driver sped off.
With the license plate information provided, Officers were able to find the vehicle parked at a local motel in the 700 Block of South K Street in Tulare. Inside the vehicle, Deputies found the stolen pressure washer and additional possible stolen property. The registered owner of the vehicle, 23-year-old Christopher Norrod, was arrested for Grant Theft, Burglary and Possession of Stolen Property.
