On 3/7/19, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, Coroners Division, conducted an autopsy on Dynasty Alexander, who had visible signs of strangulation and trauma to the upper torso when her body was found near a Tulare orchard on 3/3/19. Upon completion of the autopsy, the official cause of death was determined to be a single gunshot wound to the upper torso.

On 3/5/19, 52-year-old Dale William Watson of Porterville was arrested for the murder of Dynasty Alexander. Investigators followed up on numerous leads and found evidence, including video surveillance of Watson offering the victim a ride. He was under constant surveillance for 12 hours and was take into custody during a traffic stop in Porterville.
