Narrative:

On 4/21/2015 at approximately 1319 Hours, deputies from the Tulare County Sheriff Department responded to the Tule Indian Reservation Justice Center on South Reservation Road in Porterville regarding a check having been stolen from a mailbox.  Upon arrival the victim, Gaynell Manuel, reported a check had been stolen out of her mailbox and cashed at a store in the city of Porterville.  Through investigation, deputies determined the suspect to be Adriana Pena (23 years).  Further investigation also revealed Pena had an active misdemeanor warrant for her arrest.  

On 5/11/15 at 1001 hours, deputies responded to a residence on the Tule Indian Reservation and took Pena into custody for her warrant.  Pena was transported to the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility and booked for her warrant as well as this case.

This case is currently being investigated by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department.
