After an approximate two (2) week investigation into the sales of illegal narcotics in the Exeter area, Investigators from the Inter Agency Narcotics Enforcement Team (INET) consisting of personnel from Exeter P.D, Farmersville P.D and Sheriff’s Department’s Narcotics Division were led to a residence in the 500 blk. of Channing Way, in the City of Exeter.  The search revealed that the  suspect a validated gang member and his wife  were in possession of eighty seven (87) marijuana plants, fifteen pounds (15) of marijuana package for sales, scales and packaging material. The subjects had two children ages 5 and 2.  Detectives located approximately five pounds of marijuana located in the kid’s room underneath their bed.  A rifle was also located inside the residence.  The children were turned over to Child Protective Service.  A validated gang member was also contacted at the residence and was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. As a result of the search warrant three people were taken into custody on the below charges.
