On May 4, 2018 at approximately 1000 hours, Detective’s from the Crimes Against Children’s Unit responded to Sycamore Valley Academy, in Visalia, regarding inappropriate contact between a teacher and student.

A subsequent investigation revealed that the teacher had been in contact with a student via social media and explicit images had been sent back and forth. Further investigation revealed that the suspect had also engaged in sexual contact with the minor student. The teacher was arrested for crimes against the child.
