On October 8, 2016 Deputies were dispatched to the Kaweah Delta Medical Center for an apparent natural death. The investigation revealed that Ruben Poxtan was discovered unresponsive by citizen’s in the City of Exeter.  9-1-1 was called and emergency personnel transported Poxtan to the Kaweah Delta Medical Center by ambulance. Despite the best efforts of the hospital staff, they were unable to resuscitate Poxtan and he was pronounced in the hospital. There was no evidence of trauma and his death is being considered as natural at this time.
