On 4-13-18, Tulare County Sheriff’s Deputies received information that the above named person posted threatening material on his Facebook page in the early morning hours of this date. Deputies were able to locate these threats and found the suspect identified as Juan Rodriguez had posted information indicating he may respond to the Porterville Courthouse and shoot people.

Porterville Deputies were able to locate Rodriguez and take him into custody without incident.  

Tulare County Sheriff’s Detectives were contacted and took over the investigation. Detectives authored a search warrant for Rodriguez residence and located firearms and ammunition. At this point, Detectives are pursuing investigative leads and the investigation is ongoing.
