Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Agricultural Crimes Detectives responded to the Boswell Cattle Company, located on Yokohl Drive, in Exeter, regarding the shooting of a bull and a calf by unknown suspect(s) the night prior.

Upon arrival, the Detectives were informed that a bull and a calf were found shot and killed on the Ranch, near the roadway (Yokohl Drive) sometime between 1500 hours on 12/27/17 and 0800 hours on 12/28/17.

The employees discovered the deceased livestock while feeding the cattle on the morning of 12/28/17. Detectives were advised the animals were in two separate pastures approximately a half a mile apart. Detectives responded to the area, processed the scenes, and collected evidence from both locations.

Loss was estimated at $5.500.
