Personnel with Tulare County Sheriff's Office STEP Team conducted two search warrants for Marijuana on 7/27/16. The first one was served at 0700 hours in the Tulare area, on the 1400 block of North West, in Tulare. During the search warrant, three subjects were arrested for cultivation and possession for sales of marijuana.
In total, 111 marijuana plants were eradicated, and 4 pounds of fully processed marijuana, 4 firearms and more than $6,000 in cash were seized.
Subjects Arrested:
1. Baltazar Padilla (35 YOA) out of the Tulare area
2. Fabian Jimenez (18 YOA) out of the Tulare area
3. Luis Jimenez (35 YOA) out of the Tulare area
Subjects were booked at the Adult Pre-Trial Facility.
The second search warrant was served in the area of Avenue 208 and Road 244, in the outskirts of Lindsay. After receiving tips of possible power theft, a week-long investigation was conducted. A warrant was obtained for two properties and a large shop.
During the service of the second search warrant, two subjects were arrested. Located at the residences, were 72 pounds of fully processed marijuana, 55 pounds of partially processed marijuana, 1 AR rifle and a handgun. A representative of Edison Loss Prevention responded and confirmed the theft of power. The amount is yet to be determined, but it is determined by the equipment to be well over $1,000.
The two subjects arrested were charged with the crimes.

2. Hector Guevara-Hernandez (35 YOA) out of the Visalia area.
