Cultivation of marijuana, Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.

Suspects:

Alejandro Perez 31 years of age, 496 P.C. 10851 V.C., 5 x misdemeanor arrest warrants

Arnold Ramirez 33 years of age, 1 felony arrest warrant

Narrative:                      

On 07-01-2019 at 1300 hours, Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department TAGNET Majors (Tulare Area Gang and Narcotic Enforcement Team), Marijuana Investigation Team, and Narcotics Unit assisted Resource Management Agency with a code enforcement abatement warrant at a residence in the 4600 blk. of Ave. 392.  While assisting Resource Management Agency, Detectives observed a large illegal cultivation site of a marijuana garden within the property.    

 

As Detectives assisted Resource Management Agency, a stolen vehicle was recovered on the property which resulted in the arrest of suspect Alejandro Perez for possession of stolen property and possession of a stolen vehicle along with five misdemeanor arrest warrants. As Dectectives continued their investigation they learned suspect Arnold Ramirez had one felony arrest warrant as well.  Both suspects were later taken into custody for the above listed charge and transported to Pre-Trial for booking.  A total of 352 marijuana plants were located within the property and were eradicated and destroyed.
