On 06-19-19 at 0800 hours, Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department, Marijuana Investigation Team, TAGNET (Tulare Area Gang and Narcotic Enforcement Team) and TAGNET Majors met with members from Resource Management Agency, Code Compliance Unit regarding eighteen civil abatement warrants in the New London area. This was due to several complaints from neighbors regarding the smell of marijuana and suspicious traffic throughout the neighborhoods. While assisting Resource Management Agency, Detectives observed several illegal cultivations of marijuana gardens within the following locations:

37000 Blk. of Rd. 58, New London
5700 Blk. of Ave. 377, New London
5800 Blk. of Ave. 377, New London
37000 Blk. of Clay Rd., New London
37000 Blk. of Kate Rd., New London
37000 Blk. of Rd. 60, New London
37000 Blk. of Hunter Rd., New London
In addition to the eighteen civil abatement warrants, Detectives from TAGNET and TAGNET Majors, three subjects were arrested for Active Arrest Warrants.
During the operation of eradicating the illegal grow sites Detectives were able to locate, eradicate over 3,408 plants which were later destroyed along with 64 lbs. of semi-processed marijuana and 10 lbs. of processed marijuana which were all collected and destroyed. Along with the marijuana Detectives also located 1 rifle which was taken for Safe Keeping pending contact with the registered owners. No occupants at any residence were arrested.
