Around 5:50 a.m. on 11-21-19, TCSO Deputies were called to the 1300 block of E. Springville Drive in Porterville for a robbery. When they arrived, the victim said he had arranged to meet with a woman through a social media site called “Meet Me”. He told deputies he picked up the woman named “Karma” in the area of Date and Leggett Streets in Porterville just after 2 a.m. At that time, she introduced him to an alleged family member who lived nearby. They all decided to go to Eagle Mountain Casino.  

While at the Casino, the victim said “Karma” ran into a friend, who ended up joining them.  The victim said they left the Casino and, while driving back to Porterville, he heard what sounded like two gunshots from within or around his vehicle. Then, the “relative” of the woman threatened him with a small revolver.  The victim was told to drive to an AM/PM in the 700 block of S. Jaye Street in Porterville where he was instructed to withdraw money from the ATM.  He complied out of fear and gave the money to one of the men who had walked into the store with him.  Eventually, he dropped them all off and was allowed to leave.

During the investigation, Detectives were able to find two of the suspects, the female who was identified as 31-year-old Shalena Lopez and 39-year-old Mario Gaona, both of Porterville.

Detectives searched a home in the 900 block of E. River Street in Porterville, where they found some of the stolen property, including several cell phones, which were returned to the victim. The total recovery value was $400.

Detectives later identified the third suspect as 27-year-old Cesar Cameron Domingo Jr. of Porterville.  Detectives are actively working to try and find him.  Lopez and Gaona arrested and were booked at the South County Justice Center in Porterville.
