Deputies Uncover Honey Oil Lab at Lemon Cove Home

On 4/10/19, TCSO Deputies were called to the 32000 block of Sierra Drive in Lemon Cove about someone in the area carrying a gun, but were unable to find him. However, while they were there, Deputies noticed numerous empty five-gallon acetone cans, along with several bags of marijuana shake and glassware consistent with a Honey Oil lab on the property.

On 4/11/19, Narcotics Detectives took over the investigation. They identified 37-year-old Carlos Juan Guereca as the person involved.  A warrant was served at Guererca's home in the 5000 block of W. Reese Court in Visalia. During the warrant, TAGNET Detectives were able to find items throughout the house associated with the Honey Oil lab found in Lemon Cove. Detectives learned that Guereca had been renting space in the Lemon Cove home to run the Honey Oil lab.

The case remains active. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office at 1-800-808-0488 or anonymously at tcso@tipnow.com or by text or voicemail at 559-725-4194.
