On 10-12-2018 at 5 p.m., Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office TAGNET (Tulare Area Gang and Narcotic Enforcement Team) were called to the 42000 block of Rd. 72 in Dinuba to conduct a Probation Compliance Check and Felony arrest warrant for 43-year-old Macial Zepeda. While Detectives were at the home, Detectives noticed concentrated cannabis throughout the inside and outside of the house, along with a non-active Honey oil Lab.
Detectives from T.A.G.N.E.T. Majors responded and executed a search warrant where a further search was conducted and found 30 lbs. of processed marijuana, 145 marijuana plants, drug paraphernalia, scales, and other items associated with sales of marijuana. Detectives also found and recovered a stolen quad. Detectives contacted 36-year-old Sandra Gomez-Jimenez and 62-year-old Guadalupe Cardenas at the home and arrested Gomez-Jimenez. Detectives also arrested Cardenas on a non-related felony arrest warrant for Criminal Threats. They were transported and booked at the Adult Pre-Trial Facility. At that time, Detectives were also looking for 56-year-old Santiago Cardenas of Dinuba for questioning on this case.
The next day, 10-13-2018 around 10 p.m., Santiago Cardenas was found in Dinuba as officers were responding to a suspicious person call. He was turned over to Tulare County Sheriff TAGNET Detectives. He was questioned regarding this case and booked into the Tulare County Sheriff Adult Pre-trial Facility on charges of Manufacturing a controlled substance, Marijuana cultivation, Possession of marijuana for sale, Maintaining a place to sell narcotics and Child endangerment.
Sandra Gomez-Jimenez faces charges of Child Endangerment and Possession of Controlled Cannabis.
