Detectives Find Guns, Meth & 4-Year-old Sleeping Inside Tulare Home

    

On 04-30-2019 at 8 a.m., Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office T.A.G.N.E.T. Unit served a Search Warrant in the 22700 block of Rd. 60 in Tulare.  While at the home, Detectives found more than 1.5 lbs. of methamphetamine, some in individual packaging.  Detectives also found 9 grams of heroin, along with several rifles and several illegal high-capacity magazines. 

Detectives also learned the suspect, 45-year-old Robert Ramirez, was a convicted felon and had been previously arrested and was currently out on bail. Also, during the search warrant, Detectives found a four-year-old sleeping in a bedroom, where ammunition was found on a nightstand, along with a magazine, methamphetamine in the connecting bathroom and a loaded magazine in the bedroom closet.  Detectives also found and recovered one stolen truck and one stolen motorcycle. 

Ramirez was arrested and booked at the Adult Pre-Trial Facility. He faces charges of Possession of Heroin for Sale, Possession of Meth for Sale, Possession of Stolen Property, Bail Enhancement, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Felon in Possession of Ammunition, Possession of a High-Capacity Magazine, Child Endangerment and Possession of a Firearm While in Possession of a Controlled Substance.
