On 7-31-2019 around 3:30 p.m., TAGNET (the Tulare Area Gang Narcotic Enforcement Team) assisted the California HIDTA High Impact Investigation Team (HIIT) with a narcotics investigation.

The investigation resulted in the seizure of approximately 20lbs of methamphetamine and a gun at an undisclosed location in Tulare County. Detectives arrested the following suspects on the listed charges:

Suspect #1: Mario Ivan Hernandez Escobar 20yrs old from San Diego, Ca. Charges: Possession of narcotics for sale, transportation of narcotics, conspiracy to commit a crime.

Suspect #2: Ignacio Deoca Montes 24yrs old from Los Angeles, Ca.      Charges: Possession of narcotics for sale, transportation of narcotics, conspiracy to commit a crime, possession of narcotics with loaded firearm, Possession of loaded firearm in public.

Their bail is set at $250,000
