On 8-17-16, Tulare County Sherriff’s Office Ag Crimes Detectives were contacted and advised of the misappropriation of funds and missing equipment from the Always and Forever Horse rescue in Exeter. Detectives conducted an investigation that revealed Ranch Manager Jess Ahumada had fraudulently diverted funds from Always and Forever Horse Rescue.

Information also revealed livestock tack and equipment was missing. Approximately $7,000 worth of tack and equipment was recovered and returned to Always and Forever.  At this time, the suspect has been arrested, further leads are being pursued and the investigation is ongoing.
