On 02-20-2017 at 1909 hours, Deputies responded to the area of Road 80 and Avenue 32, Allensworth, in regards to two male subjects stripping parts off of a vehicle.

Deputies arrived on scene and observed the suspect vehicle leaving the area. Deputies detained two subjects in a traffic stop. Upon further investigation, Deputies located stolen property in the suspect vehicle, as well as, burglary tools which appeared to be used in the commission of the crime. Deputies also learned the suspect made threats to the reporting party in attempt to compel him to give him money.

Both suspects were subsequently arrested for various charges and booked at the Porterville Substation.
