Location: Missing from 300 Block of South Rose St. Farmersville, CA
Vehicle: 1995 Nissan Altima, Black, CA Lic. 7CDB898
On June 30, 2014 at approximately 1400 hrs a vehicle matching the description of missing person adult Hermalinda Enriquez Lara was located by canal tenders of the Friant/Kern Canal while on regular maintenance checks. The vehicle was subsequently recovered from the Friant/Kern Canal where it crosses Ave 282 in Tulare County. Recovery of the vehicle was made by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team. The body of an adult female was located inside the vehicle while the dive team was making recovery.
On July 1, 2014 the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Coroners unit was able to make identification of the body as that of Missing Adult Hermalinda Lara.
Notifications have been made and the cause of death is pending toxicology results which could take several weeks. Preliminary examination of the body showed no obvious signs of foul play.
