            Suspect:  Male Juvenile/ 16 Yrs  In Custody

                            Lemon Cove

            On 05/14/16 at approximately 2000 hours, Investigators from the Interagency Gang Enforcement Team and the Gang Violence Suppression Unit contacted the suspect, a known Northern gang member, at his residence in regards to an active felony warrant.

The suspect was located hiding in a bathroom. Investigators saw a .22 caliber rifle in plainview in the suspects bedroom which was adjacent to the bathroom he was hiding in. The suspect was taken into custody without incident, he was also listed as a runaway juvenile, he admitted to knowing the rifle was in the bedroom. The suspect was booked at the Juvenile Detention Facility on the listed charges.

The case is currently under investigation by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Gang Violence Suppression Unit and no other information is being released at this time.
