On 8/25/2017 Deputies from the Sheriff's Headquarters Substation were dispatched to the Selma Adventist Hospital and later to a Fresno hospital for the report of a victim of an assault and battery.  It was learned that two males assaulted the male victim causing serious injury. 

This investigation is ongoing.
