On 05/28/16 at approximately 1935 hours, Investigators with the Sheriff’s Gang Violence Suppression Unit were traveling north on Highway 99 at Paige Ave in Tulare, when they saw a vehicle commit a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle initially stopped his vehicle on the shoulder of northbound Highway 99 just north of Paige, when a suspect exited the rear passenger seat, and fled east from the stop.

The driver then attempted to evade officers continuing north until finally stopping at the corner of Bardsley and Spruce in the city of Tulare. The remaining occupants fled/attempted to flee the scene. Three of the 5 subjects in the vehicle were eventually captured and booked for the above listed crimes.

The case is currently under investigation by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Gang Violence Suppression Unit and no other information is being released at this time.
