In recent weeks deputies at the Cutler-Orosi Substation have received multiple reports of forged checks from their personal bank accounts at local banks. The suspects are creating fictitious checks and utilizing the victims account number and bank routing number and passing the checks in the Fresno area. The community is cautioned to monitor bank activity and report any unauthorized transactions or suspicious activity to law enforcement.
