On 10-30-18, Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Property Crimes Unit took over a Burglary investigation, which happened in the 12500 Block of Rd 202 in Porterville. During the investigation, Detectives learned that 47-year-old Anne Mohoff of Fresno had broken into two separate homes in Tulare County, by force, and took several items of value. Detectives later discovered that some of the stolen property had been pawned by Mohoff at a local pawn shop in Fresno. A victim later positively identified items as being stolen from her home. Mohoff was also identified through video surveillance and photographic lineup.
On 11-13-18 Detectives tracked Mohoff down in Fresno. Mohoff admitted to the thefts, stating she entered the home by force, knowing the targeted victims would be at church. A search of her vehicle and home revealed no other stolen property. She was subsequently arrested and booked into custody at the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department Pre-Trial Facility in Visalia.
