Over the weekend of Friday, June 22 and Saturday, June 23, 2018, Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office TAGNET (Tulare Area Gang and Narcotic Enforcement Team) conducted gang suppression in the Communities of Pixley, Tipton, Earlimart, and Alpaugh. This was part of ongoing efforts to reduce gang violence in the southern part of Tulare County.

During the suppression detail, Detectives made numerous traffic stops, probation/parole contacts, field interviews, and warrant services. As a result of the detail, Detectives seized three firearms and located two stolen vehicles. The following subjects were contacted and arrested by Detectives for the listed crimes:

 

Manuel Martinez, 20 years old, Earlimart

Possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle

 

Jose Castellanos, 31 years old, Pixley

Possession of a controlled substance


Olegario Ruvalcaba 36 years old, Alpaugh

Possession of a loaded firearm while under the influence of a controlled substance, Possession of a controlled substance

 

Ricardo Valdivia, 36 years old, Tipton

Driving without a license

 

Walter Arvizu, 40 years old, Earlimart

Outstanding warrant for Possession of a controlled substance

 

Juan Hernandez, 29 years old, Earlimart
Possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest

 

Armando Ayon, 41 years old, Earlimart

Possession of a controlled substance

 

Joaquin Espino, 40 years old, Porterville

Possession of a controlled substance

 

Jorge Alcazar, 38 years old, Alpaugh

Convicted felon in possession of ammunition
