Narrative:

On Friday 04/15/2016 and Saturday 04/16/2016, the Interagency Gang Enforcement Team and the Gang Violence Suppression Unit, with the assistance of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Special Services Unit, conducted compliance checks of known gang members in the communities of Exeter and Farmersville in an effort to combat gang violence with a zero tolerance for gang activities and made the following arrests:

 

16- 40041        04/15/16                      1630 hours                800 Blk of S. Shasta Farmersville, Ca.    Suspect #1: Robert Huerta      MH/ 22 Yrs                      Farmersville, Ca

On listed date and time, Robert Huerta was contacted by gang investigators during a Parole Compliance check and was found not to be in compliance with his terms and conditions of Parole.  Huerta, a known Northern Gang member, was found to be in possession of live ammunition, 30305(a)(1) PC Felon in possession of ammunition and 3056 PC Violation of parole).  Huerta was arrested without incident and booked at the APTF.

 

16-40040         04/15/16                      1720 hours                  700 Blk of S. Avery Farmersville, Ca

Suspect # 1   Rochel Frances Maes   FH/ 31 yrs                     Farmersville, Ca

On the listed date and time Rochel Maes, a known Northern gang member, was contacted by Gang Investigators during a Parole Compliance and found to be in violation of her terms and conditions of parole. Maes was found to be in possession of a replica firearm 20150(a) PC, a double edged knife, 21510 PC and an amount of Methamphetamine packaged for sales, 11378 H&S. A parole violation for 3056 was issued as well. Maes was taken into custody without incident and booked at the APTF.

 

16-40051         04/16/16                      1630 hours                  300 blk of E. Walnut Exeter, Ca

Suspect #1 Juan Manuel Osegura       MH/29 Yrs                              Exeter, Ca.

 On listed date and time Juan Osegura was contacted by gang investigators during a Parole Compliance check and was found not to be in compliance with his terms and conditions of Parole.  Osegura, a known Northern Gang member, was found to be in possession of live ammunition, 30305(a)(1) PC Felon in possession of ammunition, Narcotics paraphernalia, 11364 H&S  and 3056 PC Violation of parole. Osegura was arrested without incident and booked at the APTF.

 

16-40052         04/16/16                      1630 hours                  300 blk of E. Walnut Exeter, Ca

Suspect #1 Christopher Trinidad Soto            MH/22 Yrs                              Exeter, Ca.

 On listed date and time Christopher Soto was contacted by gang investigators during a Parole/ Probation compliance check and was found not to be in compliance with his terms and conditions of Probation.  Soto, a known Northern Gang member, was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine, 11377(a) H&S , Narcotics paraphernalia, 11364 H&S. Soto was arrested without incident and booked at the APTF.

 

Two (2) additional arrests for subjects who were under the influence of a controlled substance.

Five (5) Gang field interviews were conducted and recorded.

Two (2) miscellaneous misdemeanor arrest warrants were served.

In all 6 compliance checks were conducted.

The Interagency Gang Enforcement Team (IGET) is made up of investigators from the Exeter and Farmersville Police Departments along with Investigators from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department. It is funded by a grant from the Byrnes Justice Assistance Grant/ Closing the Circle Program.
