On 2-24-14, 0800 hrs. Tulare County Sheriff Deputies responded to the 2800 block of Ave. 368 regarding a theft investigation. Upon arrival the victim reported sometime over the weekend unknown suspects removed a farm tractor trailer from his property valued at $1500.

On 2-25-14, 1230hrs.  While patrolling the small community of London, Tulare County Sheriff Deputies located the victims trailer. The trailer was in the possession of suspect Salvador Pacheco Lopez.  Suspect Lopez had the trailer attached to his vehicle and was pulling it while driving.  A traffic stop was initiated, suspect Lopez was detained.  Evidence at the crime scene linked suspect Lopez to the theft. He was taken into custody and booked into the Tulare County Main Jail.

Suspect:  Salvador Pacheco Lopez   26 years old from Traver, Ca. He is being charged for violations of PC 487 Grand Theft, and  PC 496 Possession of Stolen Property.

The case remains under investigation by the Tulare County Sheriffs Department.
