On 5-1-16 at 1130 hours, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Porterville Rock and Recycle regarding a theft of welding equipment and an attempted theft of a motor vehicle.  The reporting person stated suspect(s) entered the property at the Rock and Recycle Yard between 0400 and 0600 hours. 

Suspect(s) made entry into several vehicles within the property and stole the above listed items.  Suspect(s) also attempted to steal a motor vehicle from within the property.  This motor vehicle was recovered near the crime scene location.
