Deputies were dispatched to the area of Belmont and Firebaugh, in Exeter, regarding an abandoned Gator-brand motorized vehicle. The vehicle was located approximately a quarter mile west of the intersection of Belmont and Firebaugh.

Deputies responded to the area and located the John Deere Gator. Deputies were able to locate information on the Gator and identify the victim. The gator was photographed and processed for evidence.

The victim was contacted and the Gator was returned. The victim stated the Gator was stolen on 6/3/16, at approximately 1700 hours from the area of Ave 288 and Road 196, in Exeter. The estimated value of the Gator was approximately $7,000.
