On 6-27-16, Patrol Deputies from the Sheriff's Pixley Substation responded to the Allensworth area in regards to the report of a stolen tractor. Upon arrival, they located evidence to substantiate unknown suspects removed a John Deere 5625 tractor from a secured equipment yard.  

Detectives were contacted and assumed the investigation. Evidence was located in and around the crime scene and laboratory resources processed evidence.

On 6-28-16, Detectives continued their investigation and ultimately located the tractor approximately 2.5 miles from where it was stolen. Further evidence was located and continues to be processed. The tractor was returned to its owner. 

 At this time the suspects are still outstanding, however leads are being pursued and the investigation is ongoing.
