On 2/17/17, at 0502 hours, Deputies from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 3600 Block of Avenue 384, in Kingsburg, Tulare County, regarding a theft in progress.
Upon arrival, Deputies observed the perimeter fence had been cut and several pieces of equipment had been moved to the outside fence line.
All the stolen equipment from the business was recovered. Deputies located a large white flatbed truck located on the north side of the business that was stuck in the mud surrounding the fence line. The suspects attempted to pull the truck out of the mud using a Bobcat excavator that was stolen from the business. After further investigation, the flatbed truck was reported stolen from a business in Fresno County a week prior.
The suspects left the area prior to Deputies arriving.
Detectives from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office responded to the business. Detectives processed the scene and collected evidence.
