Over the past month, Tulare County Ag Crimes Detectives have worked alongside Investigators from Kings and Kern Counties in a joint effort to develop leads and locate evidence regarding several recent thefts in all three counties.

Approximately one week ago, Detectives developed information that led to the above listed suspect. Upon learning of his involvement, Detectives began conducting surveillance, providing numerous locations where large pieces of farm equipment and tractors were being kept.

Ultimately, Detectives were able to locate over $120,000 worth of stolen property from all three counties including a Domries disc recently stolen from the above listed victim. As a result of evidence and investigation, Timothy Ballin was taken into custody and is expected to face felony theft charges in all three counties.

Detectives and investigators would like to thank the public for their information and cooperation during this investigation. Because of the outstanding working relationships between investigators from the aforementioned County Law Enforcement Agencies and the Agriculture partners within Tulare County, this case was a success.
