On 8-23-18, Tulare County Sheriff’s Ag Detectives and District Attorney’s Office jointly served a search warrant in the City of Delano which resulted in the recovery of a large amount of stolen grape packaging materials. Intelligence gathered through investigation led detectives to a storage unit in the City of Delano which housed numerous pallets of stolen property. Victims were contacted from Tulare County and Kern County to identify and recover their stolen grape packaging materials. Victims included Mr. Box Inc., Delano Farms, and J&S Packaging. The recovery of stolen packaging materials totaled approximately $7,650.00.
The suspect, identified as Rafael A. Rincon of Delano, is currently outstanding and out of the country. A warrant is being sought for his arrest and the case has been filed with the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office.
